We're in the strange position of preparing to launch an online radio station. Non-profit, non-commercial, freeform, Beware! The Radio is the kind of open-minded, open-hearted station we'd like to listen to - and we hope you will too.
Featuring a mix of independent music - from wax cylinders to chiptunes, samples to sonatas - wide-ranging DJ sets from netlabels and hungry sound-hounds, and spoken word delights - interviews, politics, poetry, comedy, essays - there will be a lot of airtime to fill, and we'll do our very best to fill it entertainingly. We encourage you to get involved!
Reckon you've got something constructive to share about recent archaeological discoveries, theatrical techniques, power dynamics, or anything else? Are you sitting on a wealth of dusty, fusty bedroom jangle-pop, or a translation of Beowulf? Got contacts on the Liberian hipco scene, or in Indonesian gamelan orchestras? Get in touch! We could be just the home for it!
